The philosophy of the Prevention and Recovery Program at Lifeways, Inc is that we see all clients as human beings regardless of their circumstances that may have brought them to us, and that they need to be treated with respect and dignity. We also see the person as being holistic, physical, spiritual and intellectual, that all these areas must be addressed when talking about treatment outcomes. We do this through multiple types of therapy. The process is begun through an assessment using the motivational steps to change, and the ASAM PPC-2R placement criteria, which helps the client put themselves into the appropriate situation in all areas of their life. Alcohol education, relapse prevention, family treatment, individualized treatment, group treatment, AA, and whatever other treatment would be helpful or necessary in helping this individual develop a treatment plan that will fulfill their needs.
