Parenting Classes

Parenting classes offer an opportunity for parents to learn helpful ways to confidently deal with the challenges that come from raising children in the world today.  Parents will have a place to be heard and understood in a calm and comfortable environment. 

Information in groups will include:

• Individual and family coping skills
• Guidance on creating a home environment that encourages responsibility.
• Ways to avoid power struggles while still setting limits
• Skills to teach children problem solving skills
• Material to stay calm in stressful parenting moments
• Methods to address difficult topics that children today may face
• Learn things that work and things that don’t work
