Meet Caroline! She is the new Clinical Director at the Western Idaho Community Crisis Center in Caldwell. Caroline brings a wealth of social work experience to this position. She has been a social worker for over 20+ years (she won’t give you an actual number). She has worked in residential settings, child protection, taught at Northwest Nazarene University, worked in oncology as a social worker, and recently been a MHS III with Lifeways in Caldwell. Caroline is a graduate of the University of Idaho (GO VANDALS!!), has her Masters in Social Work in both clinical and management studies from Northwest Nazarene University (when they were still the Crusaders!) and is currently working on her PhD in Social Work through Walden University. She is currently ABD.

Caroline lives in Nampa, ID and has three kids: Emma, age 22, who is graduating from the University of Idaho in May 2021, Hannah, age 18, who is graduating from Columbia High School in May 2021 and attending the College of Southern Idaho in the fall, and Carson, age 16, who is currently a Sophomore at Columbia High School. Her husband, Alan, is a health care mechanic at Saint Alphonsus in Boise where they met when he came to hang pictures in the office of the “new girl in North Tower.”

In her free time (when not writing her dissertation), Caroline enjoys gardening, riding horses, and spending time with family.

Lifeways 'lights is here to allow the communities we serve to meet the amazing people and teams that help them each and everyday! Each week a different employee from the Lifeways Continuum of Care will be featured here complete with photo and bio explaining who they are and what they do! Additionally every month a different Lifeways team will be highlighted as well.
