Peer Support

Certified peer support specialists build supportive relationships with individuals and model recovery, resilience, and wellness in the face of mental health challenges. Peer support specialists work closely with the participants and the participant's therapist to identify personal strengths and set their own mental health goals. Activities at the Peer Center and in the community include arts and crafts, music, cooking classes, recreational sports, field trips, and holiday parties. The Peer Center is open daily to all adult recipients of Lifeways services.
