Why Does Lifeways Need Donations?

Why do we seek donations despite receiving funding from state contracts and grants?

To provide the quality care our clients deserve and respond promptly to community needs, Lifeways, Inc. incurs expenses beyond what federal, state, or local grants cover.

Unlike for-profit businesses where profits can be reinvested as management sees fit, non-profit organizations like ours must adhere to strict spending guidelines accompanying most grants.

Unfortunately, government contracts and typical grants often only cover basic operating costs, leaving us to seek additional funds for staffing, supplies, rent, and other overheads.

Your unrestricted financial support enables us to innovate, deliver high-quality services, and sustain our work in times of limited resources.

Are Donations Tax-Deductible?

Yes. Funds donated to Lifeways, Inc are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Lifeways, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization specializing in the health and wellness of the communities it serves. Like other non-profit organizations, Lifeways relies heavily on donations.
